SAN FRANCISCO, CA - OCT 26: Pan Seared Scallops at the Roots Restaurant located on the lobby level of the Orchard Garden Hotel on October 26, 2010 in San Francisco, California. San Francisco was recently rated the second greenest US city overall, narrowly beaten by Portland Oregon. The Orchard Garden Hotel has been awarded LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). San Francisco's first hotel to earn this honor, the Orchard Garden is only the third hotel in the U.S. and fourth hotel in the world with this certification.
